The Opportunity
Washington Hospital Services (WHS) provides a wide range of industry knowledge to help healthcare providers elevate the quality and efficiency of their patient care and business operations. As the services arm of Washington State Hospital Association (WSHA), they needed to differentiate themselves through a cohesive brand system, unique and separate from their parent organization. A comprehensive visual communications overhaul would bring clarity about the services offered and increase engagement between WHS, their partners, and healthcare providers.
The Shift
ShiftUp created a new design system for Washington Hospital Services that includes a bright color scheme, dynamic shapes and angles, soft corners and gradients, and human-centered photography. A new website showcases the design system within an intuitive user experience with a well organized navigation, clear calls to action and helpful, informative resources.
The Impact
With the updated identity well-defined, it was implemented across a variety of collateral, including flyers and brochures for the leadership development and workforce education programs. Messaging improvements better engage the viewer and clearly communicate the values and aspirations of WHS as an essential partner to all of WSHA’s healthcare providers.
